This under painting is my clean slate. It is nebulous. The change in light will reveal some shapes and others will disappear. I will have a vague idea of where this painting is going. What I want to explore and discover, but like a gift, what the finished painting will become will be a surprise.
Here's to 2012 being a wonderous gift.
