In the Frame

"In the Frame" is a painting I finished last week. Still on the easel in my studio and hanging in my booth at the Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalsipell, Montana.

The painting is Oil on Canvas, 35" x 35", and is being received very well.

Unexpected

"Spring Green"

from the "In Search of the Superlative Horse" series

22" x 30"

Mixed Media on Paper

I completed this painting a few years ago. I have shown it a few times since then, and while other painting have sold this one has remained. It has been completely unexpected as it is one of my favorites.

Perhaps it will find it's home later this summer when I show it at the Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana.

Sunday Morning Surprise

Sunday morning I was pleasantly surprised when I opened an email and read this...........

"I just got Jumper back from the framer and wanted to share with you what it looks like. I'm absolutely thrilled with it, and have it in my kitchen so I can see it all the time. Your work is absolutely stunning - most unusual and very striking. The perfect thing for my walls! The framer "floated" the piece with the deckle edge showing, and also floated the frame for depth. It looks spectacular!

Thank you so much,
 Kim

This really was one of those "Icing on the Cake" moments. Thanks Kim for making my day!

I had such a fabulous time on my trip to Montana. Kalispell couldn't be a nicer place and the people were warm and engaging . I can hardly wait to go back up next year to the Event at Rebecca Farm.

Montana Bound

Tomorrow morning, I leave for The Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana.I used to live in Three Forks, Montana and have never been to this part of the state.
Horses, Huckleberries and Big Sky! Does it get much better than this?
