Noblesse Oblige

As many of you know I have a deep love of animals.I can't imagine my life with out them. For me,they are a constant source of joy.
For the record I believe that BP and the companies involved in the Louisiana Gulf Oil Spill should clean up the mess.Pay for whatever it takes to remove all the oil and restore the wetland marshes and it's inhabitants.Having said that,I also believe that I am part of the problem.I drive and while I don't make random trips to town to pick up one or two items I use gas. When gas prices increase at the pump so does my shrill whining.I want gas that I can afford and I want it to be available to me all the time.
So in light of my responsibility I will be offering paintings, collages, prints and drawings for sale over the next few months.15% of each artwork will go to The Nature Conservancy,The International Bird Rescue,or the Audubon Nature Institute,to help with the clean up effort in the gulf.
So to start off the effort is this painting of a Sea Turtle,15"x22",mixed media with 23kt gold leaf on 300 lb Saunders Waterford watercolour paper.$750.00 includes shipping and insurance in the U.S.If interested please contact at tanner@ctannerjensen.com

Tanner, what a beautiful way to give back. I agree we are all part of the problem.
